Urban Conservationist
The Urban Conservationist Award recognizes an individual, a business, or group that is voluntarily making strides to address urban environmental concerns or move towards more sustainable practices in Yamhill County. Information requested below will serve as a guide for the Yamhill SWCD Awards committee in selecting an award winner. If the nomination is successful, the person making the nomination or the nominee should be willing to assist the district in preparing a short presentation and newsletter article outlining their conservation practices. The winner will be invited to Yamhill SWCD’s Annual Meeting to receive the award.
