Conservation Educator


The Conservation Educator Award recognizes the outstanding contribution of an individual or organization that is actively providing conservation education to youth or adults in Yamhill County.  The Conservation Educator Award is named after Frieda L. Miller whose gift of Miller Woods has strengthened environmental science and conservation education in Yamhill County.Requirements:  The nominee may be a full or part-time teacher, a volunteer, or responsible for delivering a conservation or environmental program as part of a company or agency.If the nomination is successful, the person making the nomination or the nominee should be willing to assist the district in preparing a short presentation and newsletter article outlining their activities.
