Local Rules for OWEB Small Grants:
Small Grants (under $10,000) - These grants are applied principally on private lands and are meant for on-the-ground restoration projects. The following project types are considered to be priority for funding
- Instream Process and Function - Improve Instream Habitat, Managie Erosion, Eradicate Exotic Aquatic Species
- Fish Passage - Remove Irrigation or Push-up Dams and install alternatives
- Urban Impact Reduction - Install Storm Water Runoff Treatment, Create Off-Channel Flood Storage, Employ Integrated Pest Management
- Riparian Process and Function - Manage Nutrient and Sediment Inputs, Manage Vegetation, Employ Integrated Pest Management
- Wetland Process and Function - Manage Nutrient and Sediment Inputs, Manage Vegetation, Restore Wetlands, Employ Integrated Pest Management
- Upland Process and Function - Manage Erosion, Manage Nutrient and Sediment Inputs, Manage Vegetation, Employ Integrated Pest Management
- Water Quality/Irrigation Efficiency - Recharge Groundwater, Implement Irrigation Practices

ODA - Noxious Weed Small Grant Program
ODA Administered 2010-2011 S & P Noxious Weed Small Grants Program
The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) is requesting proposals to allocate State and Private(S&P) Forest Health funds received through an agreement from the US Forest Services Pacific Northwest Region to support a small grants program for the control of noxious weeds. Small grant funds will be distributed through an open competitive process administered by ODA. The grant funds will be made available to weed control entities throughout the state for noxious weed control projects that protect and enhance state and private forestland.
